Silly season and the kitchen side

Who else has a to do list that they can’t even look at? 😅

It’s pretty much a given that most of us have work, parties, school emails (damn those school emails!), and general Christmas “stuff” coming out of our ears.

For me the stressful one is the kitchen side. I have this “to do pile” near my fridge. It’s always there. And in December it grows all the way down the counter top.

I try not to let it bother me, but it really does 🤣. But somehow, containing most (ok some) of the Christmas chaos into that corner somehow helps me compartmentalise it.

And you can often find me of an evening rearranging that chaos corner.. funny the coping mechanisms we adopt. What’s yours?

Another thing I like to make sure I do to cope with silly season is take time out. Preferably for something like a sound bath or candlelit meditation.

Last week I gathered a group of women to do just that. I held a fireside mini retreat at the beautiful Nest in East Winch. We talked, we journaled, and we rested with some deep and relaxing meditation.

It was so nourishing and gorgeous that I’ve booked 3 more. You can find all the details and book here.

If you book all 3, you’ll get an automatic discount of £20. Or you can use the code NETWORK for £5 off one, if you want to try it out first. You can’t use both codes together. 😊

These are intimate retreats with just 6 spots for each date, so don’t delay if you’re keen.
