3 Tips for Dealing With Overwhelm

Is it just me or is everyone feeling totally overwhelmed right now?

It seems to be all I see people talk about on socials.

And truth be told, I’m really feeling it myself.

Let me help you! (And myself…)

My top 3 tips for dealing with overwhelm are:

See what you can drop

I’m forever guilty of wanting to do ALL THE THINGS. But the truth is, it’s totally impossible. Can you eat a meal from the freezer tonight? Leave the house in the state it is? Cancel any non-urgent meetings? Push something off the list that really actually could wait? Do it!!

Get outside

Yes, it’s blimmin freezing. But wear all the layers, and head out even for a 10 minute walk. I promise you’ll come back at least a bit refreshed!

The post it trick

Get a stack of post its. Write one thing on each that you have to do. Focus on the top one until it’s done. Repeat. It’s a life saver for the mega overwhelmed!
