Did you miss me?

I stepped away a little bit from my retreats business after my sell-out retreat at PAUS. back in March. Honestly, it felt like the right moment to pause (pun totally intended).

Real talk, it can be tiring filling retreats! The actual delivery is fabulous, fun and energising – but the marketing and advertising – not so much.

I’d been doing too much, and burnout is not a good look on a wellness practitioner!

So, I took the bold step of cancelling my events for the rest of the year and gave myself the gift of space.

I’ve burned out once, we’re not going there again.

Instead, I focused fully on my leadership training and coaching work (which has been incredible – if that side of my world interests you, I share more over on LinkedIn).

But it hasn’t been all work. I made sure this summer was full of joy, travel and reset moments. I’ve been…

Travel is still very much my passion, and I’ve felt so blessed to do so much of it this year. I’ve also been focusing on really looking after myself – back to walking, slowing down, and putting wellness back at the heart of things.

And now here we are: September. Don’t you think it feels more like a fresh start than January? The cooler days just make positive habits feel easier to stick with.
